To make interacting with Kindness fun, friendly and inclusive for all students and youth groups.
• Share my story of being bullied by my classmates because I chose to be friends with students who were not of the same ethnicity as me.
• Encourage the students or youth group to please don’t ever feel like you’re alone and cultivate an open door policy to talk to trusted staff and family members about any bullying situation.
• Ask questions to the students to keep things interactive
• Share the videos I created in cartoon form to further relate to the students, debriefing on what they got from watching the 60 second videos.
• Close out with the message of Kindness and it’s powerful when you’re Kind to people and that Kindness Is Cool
• Allow time to look at the colors the youth chose in their coloring books, take pictures with them in their t-shirts and wristbands.
